Asheboro is a city in and the county seat of Randolph County, North Carolina. It has a total area of 15.4 square miles. 15.3 square miles of the area is land, and the rest is water. The town falls within the Greensboro-High Point Metro Area. The terrain is hilly. The city is the geographical center of the state.
Caraway Speedway and North Carolina Zoo are both located here.
