Jennifer Gilligan, MD, received her medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She completed her residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in endocrinology at Emory University. Dr. Gilligan is board certified in internal medicine and brings with her more than five years of experience. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians Group, Dr. Gilligan was an emergency room physician at Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Decatur. Dr. Gilligan is proficient in Spanish and has done research in diabetes and diabetes care. Dr. Gilligan will be in practice with Imad El-Kebbi, MD, and Reshma Patel, MD. She is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
