Barrington Hills is a small village loated among the Counties of Lake, Cook and McHenry, among others. It has a total area of about 75 sq. kms. and is located at an elevated height of about 775 ft. from the ground level.
Barrington Hills is a mix of both suburban and rural areas. The race track of Arlington is located here. There are a few horse farms that led to the growth of several shops and stores catering to the sale of horses and related items and accessories like saddlery, riding outfits etc. The local education center also contributes substantially in the growth of the local economy.
