Barrington is a small town located in the County of Cook and Lake in the U.S. state of Illinois. With a total area of about 12.45 sq. kms, Barnhill is a part of the Chicago metropolitan area. There are about 7 independent villages in the area like Barrington Lake, North Barrington, Tower Lakes, among others. The village is considered a great place to live, work and play in. There are quite a few architectual landmarks in Barrington which attract a large number of tourists in the area. There are also some park and recreational facilities which attract tourists from near and far. The presence of a large number of industries in the area, along with banks and car delearships gives plenty of employment oppurtunitiea to the local population, and boosts the local economy.
