With a total area of about 40 sq. miles, Bowdoinham is a town of Sagadahoc County in the U.S. State of Maine. It is situated at an elevated point of about 115 ft. The town of Bowdoinham is a part of Portland- Biddeford and South- Portland, Maine MSA. It is located on the western side of the Merrymeeting Bay.
The local school administration distict of Maine operates a number of schools in the area.
