He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), the American College of Nuclear Medicine (FACNM), the American College of Endocrinology (FACE), and the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP).
Highly regarded in his field, Dr. Morayati is a past president of the American College of Nuclear Medicine, has received scholarships from the United Nations International Atomic Energy Commission (IAEC), and was listed by the Consumer Research Council as a top American physician in 2007 and 2008. Dr. Morayati has also been recognized for his research and dedication to his field on multiple occasions, including winning the Outstanding Scientific Paper Award from the American Academy of Family Practice and the Hans Koek Award for outstanding scientific achievement.
