Burneyville is a small community town located in the County of Love in the US state of Oklahoma. This small town is named after Mr. D.C. Burney, father of B.C. Burney. It is located just beside the State Highwsy No. 96 and on the northern bank of the Red River. It is principally an agricultural town and produces large quantities of watermelons, peanuts, grains and others. There are farms and ranches all around. There are a few resorts and Country clubs located in the vicinity of the town and this helps to attract a number of visitors in the area. The education and the local transportation sector also offers substantial employment oppurtunities for the locals.
