Cabot is said to be the largest city in the County of Lonoke in the state of Arkansas. It is a suburb of Little Rock. Cabot is a part of the North Little Rock-Little Rock-Conway MSA. With a total area of about 50 sq. kms., Cabot is located at an elevated point of about 300 ft. from the ground level. There is a well developed local media industry along with education sector. These are the two most important sources of employment. Some neighbouring communities include Ward, Austin and others. The local population of the city is primarily engaged in the field of tourism, shops and stores.
