Brief Information About Chesterfield

Chesterfield is a small town of Cheshire County located in the state of New Hampshire. There is a lake called Spofford, and the city also boasts of the natural area of Chesterfield Gorge and the state park of Pisgah. The Asbury Church also attracts a number of tourists in the area.

Chesterfield has a total area of about 123 sq. kms. with an elevation of about 853 ft. from the ground level. The city is situated within the watershed area of the Connecticut river. State highway No. 9 and 63 is located within the town and serves the local community. Most of the local residents are engaged with the service sector and some are also into local trade. A few notable people of the town are T. Davis, L.G. Mead and W.E. Stone.
