Collinsville is a town spread between the Cherokee and DeKalb Counties in the state of Alabama. It is part of the Gadsden, Alabama Metropolitan Statistical Area, and it has a total area of 3.5 square miles, all of which is land.

Manufacturing, construction, retail trade and agriculture with its related activities are the most significant economic activities here. One of souths's oldest flea markets, the Collinsville Trade Day is held every Saturday regardless of weather. It is at the southern end of the town, on U.S. Highway 11. It is a popular draw among visitors to the place. Public education here is a part of the DeKalb County School System. It comprises  Collinsville Elementary and Collinsville High Schools.  The closest hospital is the DeKalb Regional Medical Center, located about 15 miles away in Fort Payne.
