Craig is a first class city in the census designated area of Prince of Wales - Hyder in the Northern U.S. state of Alaska. It is quite famous for its commercial fishing industry which is the principal economic activity of the region. It has a total area of about 10 sq. miles. The timber industry is also well developed in the area, then there is enough potential for tourism. The place was named after Craig Miller, who established a salterry in 1907. The principal employer is the U.S. Forest Service. It has limited transportation facilities with a sea plane base and ferry services. The utilities are also well developed in the city. Holly Madison is a notable resident of the area. It is fourth largest island of United States.
