Dishonest and incompetent‎

The last thing you want is a dishonest AND incompetent mechanic. Girlfriend had a hard shift in her auto transmission, so she asked them to check it out. They said the broken part couldn't be repaired and the entire transmission would have to be replaced. Parts and labor lets say $5,000. It was clear these guys just googled the diagnostic code, assumed the worst and charged us $143 for the privilege. We're talking about the most common compact SUV in America, not some exotic specialty vehicle. Here's the punchline. We took it to the dealer who called us back quickly to report a rodent had chewed thru the transmission wires and we just needed a new wiring harness. $250, back in business. Take my advice, dont let Christian brothers near your girlfriend, your car or your wallet. They are incompetent AND dishonest and will scam you if you let them, especially women, apparently. Skip these jerks if you're looking for a mechanic you can trust.
