Fort Pierce has contractors specializing in powder coating. This is a relatively new method of covering surfaces, similar to paint. In contrast to paint, in which the solids are in suspension in a liquid carrier, powder coating is a dry form of paint, consisting of only the particles. These are applied to the desired surface by electrostatic means. This can be done either by lowering the item into a fluidised bed of the powder, or by charging the paint and spraying it on the surface. After the final curing, the end result is equivalent to a double coat of normal paint. You can cusomtize the color, finish and other specifications. The job is done within a short span of time, subject to the scale of the work. Powder coating gives an even finish and lasts much longer than traditional paints. Some applications include household appliances, aluminium extrusions, and automobile and bicycle parts.
