Harris is a hamlet located in the Town of Thompson in east-central Sullivan County, New York, United States. It is a small community located off New York State Route 17 off Exit 102 connecting Liberty and Monticello. During the 1950 and 1960s, Harris was a growing resort community of bungalow colonies, hotels, and rooming houses. Today, Harris still has plenty of bungalow colonies.
