Hurtsboro is a town located in the County of Russell. The town is named after Joel Hurt, Sr. whose son is said to be an important developer of Atlanta, Georgia. Hurtsboro is said to be a part of Columbus Metropolitan Statistical Area of Albama-Georgia. Hurtsboro has a total area of about 2.8 sq. kms. and located above the sea level by about 350 ft.
