Indian is a village located in Municipality of Anchorage in the U.S. state of Alaska. The downtown Anchorage is about 24 miles on southeast and 3 miles of Bird in the northwest. The village is just close to Indian Creek to the west. Indian community was originated from the Indian Valley Mine. It is included on the National Register of Historic Places.
