Jeanne Armour, LCSW, is a mental health therapist on our Behavioral Health team. She currently sees patients at Springfield Clinic Carlinville and Springfield Clinic Jacksonville. “In my own life, I have received invaluable help from mental health providers, which made me recognize the importance of mental health services,” says Jeanne. “I utilize a strengths and client-centered approach with a focus on mindfulness as well as both integrated and self-compassion therapies.” Jeanne earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Bachelor of Social Work degree from MacMurray College in Jacksonville. She has more than 15 years of experience in mental health services. Prior to joining Springfield Clinic in 2014, she served as a licensed clinical social worker for Cass/Schulyer hospice with the Cass County Health Department. In her free time, Jeanne enjoys observing wildlife, decorating and gardening. She also provides support to her community’s local homeless shelter and foodbank as well as the National Friend of Earth program.
