Katonah is one of three hamlets and census-designated places located in the town of Bedford, Westchester County, New York, United States. The community was named after an American Indian Chief Katonah from whom the land of Bedford was bought by a group of English colonists. Previously name as Whitlockville, the town changed its name, and later was moved to its present site in the year 1897. Katonah has zipcode 10536.
