Mayer is a small community town located in the County of Yavapai. The city of Mayer has limited economic opportunities to be delivered. Other than travel and tourism, which contributes to the economic development of the city, it is largely dependent on the economies of the adjoining cities. There are about three places registered in the National Register of Historic Places and this helps to attract a subsantial number of tourists in the area. Mayer has a total area of about 52 sq. kms. and situated 4416 ft. above the sea level.
