Category: Errand Service
Errand services provide busy clients with people to run their errands for them. An errand is defined as a short, quick trip intended to accomplish a specific purpose such as buying something, mailing a package, or conveying a message, often for someone else. In today's hectic world, errand services are thriving as more and more people choose not to spend their precious spare time on mundane tasks. Errand services will buy groceries, gifts and other specific items for personal and business use, stand in line for returns to stores, pick up prescriptions, flowers, prepared food, dry cleaning and other small items, wait for car repairs, appliance repair personnel or delivery people, dispatch packages, and do other small, defined tasks not involving childcare or chauffeuring, often for a fixed hourly rate. Some errand businesses also offer more specialized services like pet care, event planning and help with getting organized; these businesses may also be called personal assistant services or concierge services.
