Alicia Bacchus, RN, MSN, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Dominican University of California, in San Rafael California. Following graduation, she delivered compassionate nursing care in tertiary level hospitals in the areas of Med- Surg, Telemetry, and Ambulatory Surgical Care. In 2013, she returned to school to obtain a Master of Science degree in Nursing and completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of California, San Francisco.As a Nurse Practitioner, Alicia collaborated with patients and their family members across the lifespan to provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care. In her prior role as a clinical nurse practitioner, Alicia worked alongside genitourinary oncologists at Columbia University Medical Center providing comprehensive cancer care to patients with bladder, kidney, prostate,and testicular cancer diagnoses.Her professional interests in women's health and gynecology led her to Weil Cornell Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. As a member of the urogynecology team working closely with Drs. Asfaw and Segal, Alicia is dedicated to providing patient-centered care to women across the lifespan with pelvic floor disorders.As a devoted life-long learner, she is currently working towards obtaining a Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree at the University of California, San Francisco via the virtual platform. Alicia is seeing new patients at Weil Cornell Medicine’s East 68th Street location on Monday’s and Wednesday’s.
