Ruby is an incorporated town in central western Alaska located in the U.S. state of Alaska. It is situated on the south bank of the Yukon River at the northwestern-most end of the Nowitna National Wildlife Refuge. Modes of access are only by boat or air. It has a total area of 7.6 square miles at 64°44′14″N 155°29′16″W. It has an elevation of 249 feet. The town was incorporated on September 25, 1973.
