About Us

Our Commitment to You

Our veterinarians promise to listen to your concerns, to explain your pet's treatment options in a language you can understand, and to respect your time, your budget, and your love for your pet. We are committed to caring for your pet as an important member of your family.

Our Location
We are conveniently located in the Clairemont Town Square Shopping Center - across from Pick Up Stix and in the same building as Rita's Italian Ice and Mission Federal Credit Union, right next to Denny's. Although our zip code is 92117, our vets have been caring for dogs and cats in the greater Clairemont area (University City, Bay Park, Kearny Mesa, Linda Vista, and La Jolla zip codes) for many years. We have clients that travel from Escondido, Chula Vista, and even Orange County to bring their precious pets to us for care.

AAHA stands for the American Animal Hospital Association. Founded in 1933, this is the only organization that provides accreditation for veterinary practices throughout North America. Our hospital is continually evaluated on over 900 standards covering areas such as patient care, anesthesiology, surgery, dentistry, laboratory, pain management, customer service and pharmacy. By following the strict standards required by AAHA, you can rest assured that your pet will receive the very best in veterinary medicine. Only 14% of small animal hospitals in North America are accredited. We have been accredited since 1995. You, as the consumer, have the right to ask questions about AAHA accreditation before you choose the hospitals to care for your pets. For more information about AAHA, please click on the AAHA logo.

Our Staff

We've been serving our community from this location since 1973. Dr. Hardy purchased the practice in 1986. He is still practicing, along with colleagues Dr. Donald & Dr. Sondhi. The nursing staff is a group of dedicated, compassionate veterinary professionals, led by our RVT Nicole.
