The town of Section also known as Mt. Zion is located in Alabama and part of Chattanooga-Cleveland-Dalton, TN-GA-AL Combined Statistical Area. It is within Jackson County across State Route 35 southeast of Scottsboro. Section has an elevation of 1,348 feet with total land area of 4.6 square miles. Section High School is educational institution serving local residents of the place.
