Stanton is a small town of New Castle County in the state of Delaware. Stanton is located at the confluence of Red and White clay Creeks. It is located on the southern end of Mill Creek Hundred. The education sector is quite well developed in the area with a number of schools. Previously there was a number of watermills in the area.
The town of Stanton was named after a famous land lord of the area, Stephen Stanton. The transportation links are well advanced and the place also has a famous recreation center, Racetrack of Delaware Park. A famous resident of the town is L.H. Ball. Tourism and other related industries are a part of the town's economy.
