Almond is a town in Allegany County, New York. It is located to the west of Hornell, and it has a village with the same name within the town limits. It was settled in 1796, and incorporated in 1821. It has a total area of 45.8 square miles, most of which is land. Bishopville, Canacadea Creek, Karrdale, McHenry Valley and Sand Hill are some of the communities in the town. The water body here is Karr Valley Creek.
