Cusseta is a city in Chambers County, Alabama. It is part of the Auburn-Opelika Metro Area. It is named after the ancient Creek Indian town with the same name. It was incorporated in 1853, though this fact didn't come to attention till 2006. Its population during 2011 was estimated to be 2,032.
