Located in the Orange County of California State in the US, Lake Forest is a beautiful city resting midst two man-made lakes and a forest (also man-made) consisting mostly of Eucalyptus trees; the Eucalyptus groves that were planted in the early 1900s soon grew dense enough to turn into a forest and in time a residential community came up to form the beautiful city we now know as Lake Forest.
It is also one of the safest cities in the country.Lake Forest is bordered by Irvine in the west, Laguna Hills in the southwest, Mission Viejo inthe southeast, Trabuco Canyon in the east, and Limestone Canyon Regional Park in the north.It covers a total area of 46 km2 of which only 0.48% is water.
The 2010 US Census recorded Lake Forest's population at 77,264 with a density of 4315 people per square mile; the racial composition is 57% White, 1.7% Afro-Americans, 0.5% Native Americans, 13.1% Asians, 0.2% Pacific Islanders and 9.4% of other races.
