Saraland is a city in the southwest Alabama. It is nested in Mobile County and one of the largest city in the area. The recent census of Saraland has total population of 13,405 residents and 3,757 families approximately. Economy growth is exceptional escpecially in housing projects and commercial development. Also it has rich in natural resources with nice and very well-oriented people living the place. Saraland had Spanish descendants which the land granted to Don Diego Alvarez. Early settlers named it Alvarez Station, the former name of today's Saraland. Elevation is 13 feet. Saraland first post office was started in 1895. Zipcode is 36571.
