With a total area of about 1 sq. km., Atlanta is a small town located at a height of about 900 ft. above the sea level. There are a number of churches and the town holds an Annual Home comming event during the month of June. There is a local school distict and it is both helpful for the students and also for providing employment oppurtunities to the locals. There is a recreational facility catering to the locals and tourists from outside the town.
