If you live in Northern New Jersey, and you are an avid gardener who loves exploring garden centers that truly care about the product they sell, you will have a wonderful experience at Glenwild Garden Center. We love what we do, and so will you. Alexander J. MacKenn Sr. started his landscape business in 1928. After getting a degree in Landscape Design & Horticulture, Alex Jr. started designing and running crews in 1962, and he and his father worked together for at least 20 busy years. Then the third generation came in. In 1990, Brad, now a Certified Landscape Architect, came on full time, and then Jodie started in 1992. The business truly is " a labor of love" for this family. Please visit our website to view our events, specials, and classes schedule. Be sure to leave us feedback as we are constantly evolving and responding to the needs of the community. www.glenwildgardens.com

One or more nurseries are present in Bloomingdale. A nursery or a plant nursery is the place where plants are grown and propagated, usually for sale. These nurseries are open for retail sale. The nurseries usually grow the plants in the greenhouse. The plants reared themselves can also vary widely. These nurseries are also important in branches of agriculture, forestry and conservation biology, or for simply facilitating the pleasure in gardening. The sales may be seasonal in nature.
